Operation Prasthan

Operation Prasthan is a unique initiative by Yavatmal Police aimed at empowering students and strengthening community awareness. Under this program, thousands of school and college students are given free self-defense training, along with guidance on cyber safety, health, road safety, and social responsibility. The mission of Operation Prasthan is to build confident, aware, and responsible youth who will contribute to a safe and strong society.

Women Empowerment

Operation Prasthan, launched by Yavatmal Police, is a unique initiative aimed at strengthening the role of women in society through awareness, training, and empowerment programs. Recognizing the challenges faced by young girls and women, the program focuses on building self-confidence, safety awareness, and leadership qualities.

  • Self-Defense Training: Thousands of school and college girls have been trained in karate and other techniques to enhance their ability to protect themselves.

School Training Programs

Under the visionary initiative Operation Prasthan launched by Yavatmal Police, special training programs are being conducted in schools across the district to empower young students. These programs are designed with the objective of preparing students to face modern challenges with confidence, discipline, and awareness.


The training covers:

  • Self-Defense Training – Practical karate and martial arts sessions to help girls and boys build confidence and learn techniques to protect themselves in adverse situations.
